UPC Broadband, the European broadband division of Liberty Global, has appointed Robert Dunn managing director of UPC Broadband’s newly merged NTL-Chorus cable operation in Ireland, effective 1 May. Dunn will lead the overall operational and growth strategy of the business and continue the company’s successful integration following the recent acquisition of NTL Ireland. He has worked at the European head office of UPC since May 2000, acting as chief financial officer of the UPC Broadband Division. Prior to joining the company, Dunn served as Group Controller for Impress Metal Packaging in Amsterdam. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London where he worked for nine years
