Kaseya, a global provider of IT automation software, has appointed Sean O’Connell as its marketing director for the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa. O’Connell’s role is to support Kaseya’s rapid expansion into the UKMEA market and he has key responsibilities in public relations and industry analysis, as well as lead generation, web marketing and strategic planning. Moving from the position of director of European marketing at customer interaction management software provider Talisma, O’Connell brings his extensive knowledge of corporate communications to his new role at Kaseya. His responsibilities at Talisma included strategic planning and development, marketing communications, corporate identity and branding and channel marketing. Prior to Talisma, O’Connell most recently worked for Cyntergy (EMEA) Ltd as its business development manager. Here he was responsible for the company’s development from a fledgling five seats supporting one customer to 30 seats and supporting large international customers in five languages. Customers included a range of high-profile retail and hospitality organisations such as GAP, TK Maxx, Meridian International and Holiday Inn.
