Software Resources has appointed William Burgess as a non-executive director. Burgess is at present a board member of the IMI, chairman of the National Competitiveness Council, non-executive director of Ulster Bank Ltd and non-executive chairman of the Digital Hub. Between 1991 and 2002 he was managing director and executive chairman of IBM Ireland. He has been a member of the National Executive of IBEC from 1994 and he became president for IBEC in 2000 until 2002.
