The MINI Scooter E showcased at 2010 Paris Motor Show

BMW have unveiled their new creation, an all-electric scooter, at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.

BMW’s new Scooter E design for the MINI brand was showcased at the Motor Show a day after SMART unveiled their own ‘escooter’.

An electric motor integrated in the rear wheel powers the scooter and the motor’s lithium-ion battery can be recharged at conventional domestic power sockets via the onboard charging cable.

The Scooter E’s clearly defined proportions, smoothly contoured lines, round headlights and contour windshield all make the Scooter E reminiscent of its vehicular cousins as do the chrome elements and the rounded mirrors.

Showcasing at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the Scooter E is still at the concept stage until MINI decide to roll the product out depending on the reaction from the Motor Show.
