Dublin's Lord Mayor Mr Naoise Ó Muirí delivers his opening address at the Digital Ireland Forum in Dublin on 21 September

Here’s Dublin Lord Mayor Mr Naoise Ó Muirí’s opening address at the Digital Ireland Forum in Dublin on 21 September.

His priorities for his term as Lord Mayor of Dublin include “laying the foundation blocks for Dublin to become a leading city in all things digital, including digital initiatives within Dublin City Council”.

Lord Mayor Mr Naoise Ó Muirí was elected the 343rd Lord Mayor of Dublin at the Annual City Council meeting held in City Hall on Monday, 25 June.

He studied engineering at the National University of Ireland, Galway, and is a member of Engineers Ireland. He is self-employed and runs an Irish-owned technology company. He is chair of the Environment & Engineering Strategic Policy Committee and a member of the Audit Committee, Protocol Committee and Corporate Policy Group.
