There is no question email has helped workers become more productive and efficient, and mobile technology has enabled workers to take their inboxes with them wherever they go. On the flip side, however, has this placed stress on employees to keep on top of emails no matter what else they may have going on? A new infographic takes a look.

The infographic created for Master Degree Online.com by QuinStreet delivers information on the use of email, how much email is too much email, facts about spam, email attitudes and behaviour by various US cities, and results of a few of studies on email use, one of which reveals that poorly crafted emails create just as much stress as a lot of emails.

There’s positive information, too. The infographic suggests good email habits – tips on how to increase productivity and decrease distraction at work.
