iPhone 4G may be arriving this April

We could be looking at a new generation of iPhone as early as April of this year, according to emerging reports that an improved version of the iPhone 3Gs, complete with high-definition OLED screen is in the works.

According to a news piece published in the Korea Times earlier today, a high-ranking executive of domestic carrier KT, who asked not to be named, said it plans to introduce the ‘iPhone 4G’ in April.

He went on to say that aside from having new OLED screens, the next-gen iPhone will also have live video chat, a better camera and possibly a removable battery.

It seems almost too good to be true, but the same executive added that Apple’s new smart phone will also have dual core processors, more powerful graphic chips and a higher megapixel camera to boot.

It’s early days yet, but “KT and Apple have reached a broad consensus to introduce the advanced models as early as possible,” he added.
