Fibre broadband provider Magnet will today announce that download speeds for its fibre-to-the-home service will increase from a minimum of 5Mbps to 30Mbps with no additional charges.

It is understood that upload speeds increase from 1Mb to 5Mb and the move will apply across all of its single, double and triple pay entry-level packages.

Magnet’s fibre service is delivered over the company’s own fibre network and is available in more than 11,000 homes in Dublin, Meath and Laois.
