Meteor has introduced free Meteor to Meteor calls for existing and new business customers as part of its Business Edge tariff package, it emerged today.
The company says it has amassed some 625,000 subscribers and has achieved a 15pc share of the Irish market.
As a result of the free Meteor to Meteor calls, the company claims business users can save 52pc and 33pc off the cost of their monthly bill compared with O2 and Vodafone respectively.
Calls to landlines in Northern Ireland and the UK will be the same rate as landline calls in Ireland.
Meteor’s national business manager Stuart Kelly commented: “While bringing real competition to the mobile market and satisfying business customers demand for a high-quality service at a competitive cost is key, the addition of free calls with Business Edge shows our ongoing commitment to delivering excellent value and service for all of our business customers.”
