Mobile operator Meteor has today opened its fortieth store in the Pavillions Shopping Centre in Swords, Dublin.

The new Meteor shop in Swords has been designed to appeal to the browsing mobile phone consumer with an open, interactive space displaying handsets ready for trial as part of its ‘Your Social Network’ campaign.

This interactive space includes large screens, multimedia displays and ‘Try Bars’ and includes live demos of Meteor Mobile Internet on a range of handsets in store.

The look and feel of the new store will be rolled out in the 39 other Meteor stores around Ireland over the next 12 months.

“Launching our 40th store is another great milestone for Meteor, we have stores across the country and our newest store offers customers in Swords and the surrounding areas simple, direct and straight forward access to Meteor’s better value offerings,” said Garry Doyle, director of sales.

“We have designed our stores with our customers in mind, we know people like to try before they buy and with our new interactive design, customers can check out all Meteor has to offer using the live handsets, while experiencing first hand how easy it is to use Meteor Mobile Internet and social networking on your mobile,” he added.
