New VoIP service for northwest

6 Jun 2008

Fastcom Broadband has launched a new voice service for customers in Sligo, Leitrim and south Donegal.

The Fastcom Voice packages offer free calls to other Fastcom Voice users, a free number with a local code and hundreds of minutes of free calls both to Ireland and worldwide. The packages begin at €9.99.

The Sligo-based wireless broadband company covers 90pc of county Sligo and reaches extensively across south Donegal and west Leitrim.

“People in the northwest have been taken advantage of by the traditional telephone companies for far too long,” claimed Conor Toomey, managing director, Fastcom. “Line rental charges and high phone call costs have meant ever-rising telephone bills.

“Fastcom Voice delivers a high-quality telephone service to your house using a normal telephone, but without the need to pay line rental.”
