Roscommon’s 3 customers clock up more talk time on their handsets than any other county, an extensive new study by the mobile operator has found.
Mayo people come a close second, with Offaly and Meath rounding out the top four. Donegal and Louth tied for fifth place.
Mayo people also texted more than those from other counties, the 3 research revealed.
Waterford and Longford weren’t bringing in the money for 3 to the same extent, with these two counties talking 25pc less than the Roscommon goldmine.
“The results show the west of Ireland loves to talk,” said Rachel Channing, head of PR & communications, 3.
