TalkTalk launches broadband packages

27 Nov 2007

Landline company TalkTalk is the latest company to offer a broadband service to the Irish market. Its three packages – TalkTalk Broadband, TalkTalk Broadband Plus and TalkTalk Broadband Premium – provide customers with service speeds of 1Mbps, 2Mbps or 3Mbps respectively.

The broadband costs start at €17.99, €22.99 or €39.99 as part of bundled packages with phone, depending on speed. Broadband, phone calls and line rental can be accommodated within one bill. There is a one-off connection fee of €29.99 and TalkTalk provides a wired or wireless modem for free.

“Ireland is experiencing huge growth in terms of broadband take-up and it remains a relatively young market, so we are very excited about the addition of broadband to TalkTalk’s services. We intend to offer both new and existing TalkTalk customers the chance to avail of competitive rates, value for money and a quality service from TalkTalk Broadband,” commented John Bermingham, country manager, TalkTalk.
