ADTECH’s CEO Dirk Freytag steps down

Dirk Freytag, CEO of AOL subsidiary ADTECH, will step down and be replaced by the company’s COO Erhard Neumann.

Freytag, who was also head of AOL advertising technologies, will leave the the ad serving solutions provider after a transition period.

“I would like to thank Dirk Freytag for the work he has done for ADTECH in the last 11 years,” said Ned Brody, chairman of the supervisory board of ADTECH AG and president of AOL’s B2B Group.

“Dirk Freytag has made a decisive contribution to the company’s performance and growth. We wish him all the best for his future.”

He will be replaced by Erhard Neumann, who has been COO of ADTECH since 2006, and will continue to be supported by chief technology officer Mark Thielen.

“I’m delighted that the supervisory board is transferring more responsibility for the company to me,” said Neumann.

“Together with Mark Thielen I will ensure the continuity in the management board that lets our company and technology continue to grow,” he said.
