Apple Premium Reseller Compu b is opening a new store in the Dundrum Town Centre this Saturday. The store, which will employ 15 full and part-time staff, will also be offering 10pc off all new Macs just on the launch day itself.

Irish company Compu b opened its first store on O’Connell Street in Limerick City in 2009. Since then it has opened stores on Opera Lane in Cork City, on Dublin’s Grafton Street, in the Pavilions Shopping Centre in Swords, and, more recently, in the Blanchardstown Centre.

The 15 positions at the new store in Dundrum have been filled, with the new store bringing employment created by the retailer to 110 since it opened its first store.

Before they start working at Compu b, new employees are trained on Apple technologies.

The retailer also sells software and accessories for Apple products, plus it also has an option for people to trade in older iPads or Macs in exchange for in-store vouchers.

Compu b in Dundrum will also operate a service centre and it will offer a rental of Apple devices and shared ownership scheme to the business sector.
