Cisco appoints new country manager, Ireland

Cisco has announced that Mary Lou Nolan will take over from Kim Majerus as country manager for the company’s Irish operations from 1 May 2011.

Chicago-native Majerus, who moved to Ireland in 2006 to lead the network integrator team for the UK and Ireland and was made country manager in August 2008, is returning to the United States to take up a new role as chief of staff, service provider, Cisco US.

Nolan, who joined Cisco Ireland 12 months ago, has more than 15 years of experience within the IT industry. She was previously director of sales for Hewlett-Packard Ireland.

Announcing the appointment, Cisco said she brings with her “a credible track record of achievement in sales, business management and customer engagement”.

She is a member of the Sales Institute of Ireland and a business management graduate from the College of Marketing and Design, Dublin.
