Communications firm Damovo has been selected by one of Ireland’s largest recruitment firms HRM to deploy an IP telephony system.
The IP telephony system will play an integral part in HRM’s plans to double size in the next 12 months. The company employs 75 people and has 2,600 clients.
One of the main challenges Damovo has had to overcome is the fact that HRM’s headquarters are based in a listed Georgian building, prohibiting extensive wiring work on the site.
To overcome this Damovo installed a hybrid telephony system including an Ericsson MX-One PBX at the head office, which was then converged across HRM’s wide area network (WAN) with a new voice over IP system and an IP local area network (LAN) at HRM’s second operation in the Harcourt Centre in Dublin.
All calls between the two buildings are done free of charge using voice over IP (VoIP).
“With recruitment being such an important area for most Irish companies today, it’s great to see a consultancy like HRM raising the bar in terms of expertise and customer service,” said Damovo Ireland managing director John McCabe.
“The telephone is at the heart of everything they do. With this in mind, we provided a high-quality and scalable voice network that gives them complete peace of mind as they continue to grow their business,” McCabe said.
