Enclave Technologies has acquired Irish business intelligence firm Newmarket Solutions for an undisclosed sum after months of business collaboration between the two companies.

The company will operate from offices in Dublin and will bring the number of employees to 14.

“The acquisition of Newmarket Solutions should be seen as a strategically important step in our ambition to offer our customers complete, scalable and flexible solutions”, explained Peter Hennessy, director, Enclave Technologies.

“Newmarket Solutions has excellent products, including the innovative Sage suite of products and a substantial customer base. The strategic fit with our existing business is strong. We believe that the products, solutions and resources we have acquired give us added value and broaden our product portfolio and will have a positive impact on our growth”.

Shared philosophy

Hennessy has built Enclave Technologies into one of Ireland’s leading technology solutions providers and he will be joined on the board of directors by Gavin Elliffe of Newmarket to provide a shared philosophy of unrivalled customer service.

“This acquisition is an ideal situation for everyone involved”, Elliffe explained.

“Our customers can be assured that the solutions will continue to flourish and they can look forward to exciting improvements and increased capabilities.”

Enclave will now combine the company’s networking and solutions expertise with the business software and business intelligence skills of Newmarket.

“The expansion of our solutions portfolio significantly enhances our competitiveness in the marketplace,” Elliffe said.
