15 Mar 2010

Irish healthcare company Hidden Hearing has announced plans to invest more than €18m over the next five years in doubling its presence in the Irish market.

Hidden Hearing said €3m of this investment was targeted for 2010 as it aims to open six new hearing branches, which will result in the creation of 22 jobs on top of its current total of 110 employees.

Additional jobs will also be created as more hearing centres open, the company said.

According to Hidden Hearing, the investment follows strong sales growth over the past number of years, with sales rising by 15pc in 2009 as it fitted a record number of hearing devices.

The company said its five-year plan is targeting investment in its branch network as it aims to double the number of hearing centre branches it has nationwide from 20 to 40.
