HP has launched a document security solution that requires no investment in new hardware or printing supplies called the HP and TROY Secure Document Printing Solution.
The solution lets organisations print high-value black-and-white documents with antifraud security features using plain paper and enterprise-class multi-function printers.
The server-based application lets customers define settings for security printing queues. It’s able to add anti-fraud features to files before they’re sent to printers.
The HP and TROY Secure Document Printing Solution can show a special pattern when unauthorised copying or scanning occurs and can print a unique user-defined watermark across the back of a document to prevent alteration.
The solution also provides secondary authentication viewable under magnification and has an intelligent warning box to let first-line inspectors easily verify document authenticity.
