GrabOne.ie, a new social buying site backed by Independent News & Media, has gone live. The daily deals site promises consumers savings of between 50pc and 70pc on prices for goods and services.

Social buying is a huge hit,” said Ruairi Doyle, general manager at GrabOne. “People love it as it’s a fun and innovative way to experience and discover new things, plus it saves them a bundle of cash.”

“Daily deals and the social buying phenomenon is here to stay. Our goal is to offer the best deals, working in partnership with Irish businesses, via a transparent sales approach and realistic commercial model.

“Backed up by best in class customer service and social media engagement, GrabOne offers the best and most viable social buying platform for Irish businesses. Quite simply, any deal we do has to work for the business, the buyer and GrabOne equally,” Doyle explained.

The company has ambitious expansion plans after already achieving success in Autralasia.

GrabOne.ie is a joint venture between Independent News & Media and GrabOne / APN, Australasia, where it is market leader selling over 1 million daily deals in nine months.
