Irish accountancy software firm Relate Software scooped the prestigious award for Best Practice Management Software at the recent Software Satisfaction Awards 2009 in London.

The award was presented for Relate‘s Drive product and the industry award was judged based on views of customers rather than a judging panel. The firm was the only Irish company to make it to the awards ceremony and was amongst 72 software suppliers with 100 products to have 8,151 votes cast by customers.

“This award highlights the growth potential with Irish companies abroad and puts a stamp on our competitiveness in other markets,” said Ray Rogers, CEO, Relate Software.

“It also allows us to feel confident in our UK sales strategy put in place to enable us to reach our growth targets.”

Formed in 2002, Relate Software has steadily grown its client base in the past three years with 60pc of Irish practices having moved over to their products in this time, along with the opening of a Scottish office.

“We were overwhelmed by the level of support from our customers and would like to thank them once again for their votes. Considering the tough trading climate at home it was a great evening and gave our company a major boost,” added Rogers.
