Meteor’s online orders experience glitch

Mobile phone network Meteor’s online store was offline yesterday, but sales continued through its shops and agents.

A spokesperson for Meteor, a subsidiary of Eircom, said it was "experiencing difficulties in fulfilling on the online side," and added that Meteor hoped to resolve the issue in the next few days.

Sigma Telecom, a distributor of telecoms products, fulfils orders from the Meteor site.
