Sonru enters UK by teaming up with MyJobGroup.co.uk

Enniscorthy company Sonru has announced its formal entry into the UK market via a reseller agreement with the UK’s largest network of regional job boards, MyJobGroup.co.uk.

Sonru’s online automated video tool works by recruiters posting an interview online (specifying the time allowed to read and answer each question) and sending an email invitation to relevant candidates.

Using a webcam, candidates answer the questions set, with recruiters then free to review the video responses at their convenience.

Fergal O’Byrne, CEO, Sonru.com commented: “MyJobGroup.co.uk is a very enthusiastic adopter of new and innovative technologies and video interviewing fits perfectly with its existing product suite and offers real value to their customer base.”

An innovative solution

Mark Riley, marketing manager of MyJobGroup.co.uk, said it would be the only job board able to offer “such an innovative solution”.

“We have been at the forefront of developments in online recruitment since we were founded and this latest announcement is no exception. Sonru’s technology will have a radical effect on the UK’s recruitment process, speeding up interviewing and cutting costs and inefficiency in the process.”

O’Byrne said Sonru had been working with other websites within the saongroup.com portfolio, parent company of MyJobGroup.co.uk, to develop its overall strategy of global growth and it had been a win-win for both parties so far.
