Cross border internet child protection scheme launched

10 Nov 2010

A new cross border internet child protection resource has been launched that aims to provide an online facility for child protection professionals in which they can access vital information.

The ‘North South Child Protection Hub’ has been set up in order to provide child protection professionals with a facility that is updated daily and provides a range of issues for staff working with children, including court judgments, detailed case reviews and details on policies and best practice.

The resource, which is a cross-border initiative and has been hailed as a world first, will be available to professionals in the Republic and North of Ireland.
