Dr Robin Kent will conduct a Masterclass in Energy Management in Dundalk on 25 May to help the plastics industry tackle carbon emissions and energy costs.

The day-long master class, which will take place at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Dundalk, Co Louth, on Tuesday 25 May, is being hosted by ResourceKraft.

Commenting on Kent’s visit to Ireland, Kenny O’Brien, chairman of Plastics Ireland, said: “To have Dr Kent in Ireland speaking about energy usage is a must attend for organisations in the sector.”

Added Frank Casey, CEO of ResourceKraft: “The master class will help those in the plastics industry learn systems for identifying and delivering real energy savings across their plant along with developing action plans to reduce their energy costs”.
 
Kent has been involved with plastics processing for more than 35 years and is the author of Energy Management in Plastics Processing. He has been technical director for several major plastics processing companies in Europe and provides consultancy for plastics processors, specialising in energy cost management worldwide.
