Free R&D tax credit seminar in Cork tomorrow

20 Jun 2012

R&D tax credit specialist Leyton will be giving a free seminar in Douglas, Cork, tomorrow morning about how companies can make sure they are claiming their full entitlements under the R&D Tax Credit scheme.

The seminar, which will also cover the changes to the R&D Tax Credit scheme made in the recent Finance Act, will take place in the Maryborough Hotel in Douglas, Cork, at 9am.

Scientific and engineering consultants at Leyton, as well as the firm’s head of tax, Eoin Brennan, will be giving technical advice to companies on areas such as identifying the activities that qualify for making an R&D tax credit claim.

According to Brennan, the seminar is aimed at companies claiming or considering claiming the tax credit, as well as giving advice on avoiding common pitfalls.

He said some companies are still not claiming their full entitlement under the scheme.

“Other companies may be leaving themselves open to adjustments by including activities and expenditure that do not qualify,” he added.

Companies can register for the event here.
