IBM announces system storage for speedy analytics

IBM has revealed details of a new storage architecture that can speed up business analytics.

According to an article on ZDNet, the computer giant will soon bring out a system that doubles the speed for processing business analytics in large data centres and cloud environments.

IBM said that running data analytics on large data sets are becoming extremely important and that this new architecture will save companies time and investment.

The GPFS-SNC will be an expansion to the General Parallel System.
