Swiss rocketeer wows crowd with daredevil stunt

A Swiss adventurer, otherwise known as ‘Jet Man’, has completed an aerial stunt any pilot would be proud of.

Yve Rossy – aka Jet Man – has successfully completed two loop the loops high above the ground before landing safely on the ground using his custom made jet-propelled wingsuit.

Rossy, who is no stranger to danger, threw himself from a perfectly good hot-air balloon above Lake Geneva, Switzerland, and performed the aerial stunt before landing safely with a parachute.

Rossy, a former pilot, has attempted flights across the Strait of Gibraltar, from Morocco to Spain, and successfully crossed the English Channel (a 35-kilometre journey from France to England), strapped to a single jet-powered wing, wearing only a helmet and flight suit.
