Irish companies going green at US event

Nine Irish clean-tech companies are showcasing their technologies this week at the AlwaysOn GoingGreen event in the US.

The GoingGreen event, which takes place in San Francisco, US, will host the Irish companies who are supported by Enterprise Ireland.

The companies at the event specialise in energy efficiency, renewable energy waste management and water energy, and include Bord na Móna, SolarPrint and WaveBob.

Market expansion

“Clean tech is one of the fastest-growing industries in Ireland, and these nine companies are uniquely positioned for market expansion worldwide,” said Seán Davis, SVP clean tech, industrial and life sciences, east coast manager for Enterprise Ireland.

“Ireland’s 240 clean-tech companies, including the nine at GoingGreen this week, are leading the way toward cleaner, greener practices in many worldwide industries,” he added.

The companies showcasing the event, which takes place this week, are: Aqueduct Investments, Automsoft, Avego, Bord Na Móna, Design Hosting Software (DHS), EFT Control Systems Ltd, Re3, SolarPrint, Wavebob.
