Omagh conference puts the focus on renewable energies

A conference held in Omagh, Northern Ireland, will focus on the opportunities available from bio-energy.

The ‘Opportunities in Bioenergy’ conference, taking place this week at South West College in Omagh, will identify opportunities for firms hoping to generate growth from renewables, such as biogas and biomass technologies.

The conference, organised by the InnoTech Centre and funded by the Department for Employment and Learning, will include speakers Christian Pointner, Bioenergy 2020+, Austria, Tom Brennan, Rural Generation Ltd, Martin Sturm, Camphill Community Clanabogan, Wolfgang Gabauer, Institute for Environmental Biotechnology, Austria, and Robert Brennan, B9 Organic Energy Ltd.

The conference takes place Tuesday, 12 October.
