For the day that’s in it, a new infographic runs down a list of 10 of the scariest cyber attacks this past year.

The infographic published by Red Herring on Visual.ly takes information from cybercrime prevention solutions provider ThreatMetrix and reveals the consequences of some of the biggest cyber attacks of the year, such as huge numbers of compromised personal details and credit card numbers.

The organisations on the infographic’s list are Zappos, Wells Fargo, LinkedIn and eHarmony, Android, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Global Data Inc (Visa and MasterCard), Yahoo! Voices, Go Daddy, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Ghostshell.
