Dublin based cloud and disaster recovery provider Another 9 has invested over €400,000 to boost its cloud infrastructure as part of an 18-month strategy. The latest phase of the investment is in its disaster recover (DR) cloud, based on Datto’s Siris technology.

Another 9, which has been providing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions for its customers for the past 12 years, has named this state-of-the-art back-up solution DRaaS (DR as a Service).

Another 9’s DRaaS solution provides support in the event of a complete server failover, including operating system, application (email, other) and data failure.

All server information is backed-up to Another 9’s on-premises based appliance and also to its private cloud infrastructure located within an ISO certified data centre in Ireland.

The DRaaS appliance allows Another 9 to strategically partner with resellers such as Kefron, Itomic, Brandon Consulting, and TSG , who can now resell the DRaaS solution through their market channels.
