Technology giant Dell is supporting Irish web-hosting company VMotion IT Solutions’ plans to expand in the next year via a six-figure deal it signed with the firm to deliver storage and computing solutions.
The contract involves the provision of servers to help VMotion IT Solutions enter the corporate services market.
“The selection of Dell by VMotion IT Solutions underlines the track record and trust that Dell has earned as a storage and solutions provider,” said Dermot O’Connell, general manager, Dell Ireland.
“At Dell, our mission is to continue delivering the best customer experience possible to growing organisations like VMotion IT Solutions and to be their preferred partner to help enhance their IT infrastructure. We’re looking forward to working with the VMotion team to help them expand their operations and increase their capabilities as they expand internationally.”
Headquartered in Limerick, VMotion IT Solutions provides various web-hosting solutions for worldwide clients. The company is now entering a new market area providing dedicated servers for corporate customers, including data mining and data analytics for the European market, as well as tailored hosting solutions for a growing customer base.
VMotion’s requirements for a technology solution to meet its business needs required reliability, maximum power efficiency and excellent customer service.
“As a company whose customers rely on our online support and capabilities, it was important for us to choose a solutions and services provider that would work with us in partnership to achieve our goals,” said Indresh Yadav, managing director, VMotion IT Solutions.
“We chose Dell for this very reason. We are looking forward to growing our customer base and delivering existing customers additional offerings. Through the power of technology we are able to run our business from Limerick but have a customer base which means a presence all over the globe.”
