An Ireland-based surveillance company aims to bring a greater knowledge of security technology to industry insiders at its annual roadshow.

GVD, distributor of IP video surveillance and security technology to the Irish market, has announced its annual National IP Experience Roadshow 2010 (NIPX 2010), which has evolved over the last two years from its National IP Video Surveillance and Security seminars.

According to GVP, the events are designed to allow those involved in the security industry to get the best from the latest IP surveillance and security technology, as well as generating better knowledge on the products – with the NIPX 2010 acting as a showcase for these products and solutions.

Visitor participation

At both events, visitors can participate in the seminar programme with presentations, case studies and live demonstrations from senior representatives of the exhibiting companies, including Milestone, ACTi, IQinVision, Netgenium, Netwatch, ACT, Pivot3 and BriefCam.

The seminars aim to cover a wide range of technologies, including megapixel IP cameras, video management software, remote monitoring, wireless networking, video analytics, IP video synopsis systems, PoE access, lighting and audio control and much more.

According to Gordon Smith, managing director, GVD: “NIPX2010 is a big part of our continued commitment and promotion of IP technologies to the security industry in Ireland. As well as the new products, the seminars will cover real-life practical Irish case studies of IP security in action.”

The roadshows will take place on Tuesday, 12 October, at the Red Cow Moran Hotel, Dublin, and Thursday, 14 October, at the Maldron Hotel, Oranmore, Galway.

Admission to either roadshow is free, however registration is required.

The company recommend that all industry specialists, such as CCTV security installers, security system integrators, security consultants, security managers, building engineers and specifiers, consultant engineers, and IT managers and IT consultants, attend.
