Irish tech consultancy IT Force has reported that spam now accounts for 85pc of all emails received.
The company’s weekly spam report showed a 1pc rise to 85pc. Of the 223,000 emails received by IT Force and its clients over the past week, over 190,000 were spam.
The top five viruses over the last 24 hours were (in descending order): Worm.Zafi.B; Worm.SomeFool.P; Trojan.Dropper-2556; Exploit.HTML.Iframe; and Worm.SomeFool.Gen-2.
