Swedish cloud software player signs 100 Irish resellers in six months

Swedish software player Cloudmore AB has expanded into the Irish market and in the last six months has signed up more than 100 technology companies to resell its services.

“Cloud-based services are fast becoming a common option for all types of customers given the current economic climate,” said Adrienne Rutherford, channel manager for Ireland.

“There is a rapid uptake of our cloud-computing offering because it delivers more value for less and they can quickly connect to our online services from vendors such as Microsoft, MXSweep and Iron Mountain,” she added.

Cloudmore is unique in the cloud-computing business because it only sells to the channel which enables resellers to set their own retail price.

Portfolio of services

Cloudmore provides access to a portfolio of hosted services, including email hosting and security, business applications, and online backup, as well as providing the reseller with a fully white-labelled interface.

This solution not only serves as an administrative tool for resellers but also a means of branding their services. Instead of having to invest in their own hardware, partners gain access to everything necessary to start selling their services from Day 1 via a powerful control panel, with the services hosted in Irish and European data centres.

“The response to our services in Ireland has been outstanding,” said Claes Andersson, EMEA sales development manager with Cloudmore.

“Our resellers are at the core of our business and we are looking forward to drawing on our years of experience in markets such as Finland, Norway and the UK to provide our Irish partners with a reliable, cost effective and secure cloud computing service,” Andersson said.
