Threatscape achieves highest Symantec partner status

20 Jun 2011

Dublin IT security firm Threatscape has become the first company in Ireland and the UK, and one of the first three in EMEA, to attain Symantec’s highest IT security partner status.

Threatscape, which was established just more than a year ago by a team of Irish IT security professionals, has attained the Symantec Enterprise Security Specialisation and Symantec Platinum Partner status as part of the Symantec Partner Programme.

Symantec Specialisations, which recognise partners with proven expertise in a particular area of business, provide partners with the skills and experience required to deliver differentiated service to their customers.

Threatscape’s expertise has been recognised with the award of Specialist status in multiple categories, for each of which it was able to meet or exceed Symantec’s required criteria of technical and sales competence, including enterprise security solutions, data loss prevention and endpoint management.

“We have demonstrated our ability to protect enterprises from sophisticated threats by gaining Symantec’s Enterprise Security Specialisation,” Threatscape managing director Dermot Williams said.

“The combination of Symantec’s market-leading security technology, and our proven technical competence in the deployment and support of Symantec solutions delivers a compelling partnership to meet our customers’ critical information security needs. This really differentiates Threatscape and opens up a wide range of business opportunities for us,” Williams said.
