John Ryan’s new company Zinopy has made its third acquisition since starting up in September. The company has acquired the software, solutions and support division of Visusoft, trading as Datasoft.

DataPOS, the accounting and work flow software product developed by Datasoft, represents an opportunity for Zinopy to go to market with a comprehensive and proven software application designed to meet the needs of both single site/single user organisations and larger multi-company, multi-site and multi-user operations.

Longtime IT security executive John Ryan started IT services company Zinopy in late September. The company employs 30 people and plans to hire a further 30 staff over the next two years. The new company will primarily target customers in large enterprises, Government and public sector organisations.

Growing capabilities

Ryan is most associated with IT security from his 15-year tenure at Entropy and more recently Calyx, prior to which he spent five years in software development with Expert Edge.

The represents an important boost to Zinopy’s growing team of project managers, consultants, developers and support personnel.

“The addition of the Datasoft product set to our growing portfolio is exciting news and will allow Zinopy to offer an even broader and deeper range of products to meet the evolving business of Ireland’s emerging smart economy,” Ryan said.
