15 Jun 2015

Underused by a huge number of people, keyboard shortcuts are as numerous as they are helpful. Here are 50 to help out on Windows, OS X, Chrome, Safari and even Excel.

More often then not, keyboard shortcuts are merely a combination of two keys, however it’s important to note the vast differences between dealing in native pieces of software and online browsing.

For example, did you know that ‘command + E’ on Chrome opens a query bar, while on OS X it ejects that DVD you were trying to watch?

Most web users know keyboard shortcuts like the ‘command + C, command + V’ copy and paste trick, but what about deleting content after the cursor, or bookmarking pages?

Shortcuts are perhaps at their most useful when it comes to Excel. The spreadsheet software is basically a nightmare for everybody in the world, minus those few who have mastered it. And those few shortcut like the best of them.
