Confirming the upcoming 27 January media event, Apple has sent out its email invitations today with reference to the unveiling of its “latest creation”.

We’ve had more Apple iSlate/iTablet rumour stories than you can shake an iStick at over the past few months, and the email definitely confirms that there is a new device being shown off so we can only guess that this might be it.

The invitation was a splatter of bright neon colours with the Apple logo placed at the centre, so it seems as though whatever will be announced will certainly have something to do with unleashing creativity for users.

The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in Los Angeles. In fact, the whole invite is almost like a teaser from Apple hinting at a new device that will free the user to create/manipulate content and express themselves in an entirely new way.
