Canon has revealed its latest cameras from the Powershot and IXUS range, including the Powershot SX150 IS with a 12x optical zoom.
Powershot SX150 IS
The Canon Powershot SX150 IS includes a 14.1 megapixel resolution sensor.
It has a 12x optical zoom with a 336mm telephoto reach for higher quality prints while zoomed in.
It offers Intelligent IS, a system which assesses the scene and chooses the appropriate optical IS mode to prevent camera share and blur.
The camera also features a 3 inch LCD screen and the ability to capture 720p HD movies with stereo sound.
The Canon Powershot SX150 IS is available from September 2011 costing €229.
IXUS 1100 HS
According to Canon, the IXUS 1100 HS is the slimmest 12x zoom camera.
It offers a 3.2 inch touchscreen, can shoot full HD videos with stereo sound and has a 28mm wide-angle lens.
Its HS system means it can function well in low light conditions and it also has Intelligent IS.
The Canon IXUS 1100 HS is available from October 2011 costing €429.
IXUS 230 HS
The IXUS 230 HS can shoot full HD video with stereo sound.
It offers a 28mm 8x optical zoom lens and has a 12.1 megapixel resolution sensor.
It too works well in low light conditions with its HS system and is equipped with Intelligent IS.
The Canon IXUS 230 HS is available from October 2011 costing €269.
