Dublin software company ChangingWorlds has signed a major contract with O2 Germany.
The German arm of O2 chose ChangingWorlds’s patent pending personalisation solution ClixSmart Navigator to deliver personalised mobile information services to its customers.
Using the ClixSmart Navigator, O2 Germany will implement a personalised intelligent navigation system on its mobile portal to make it easier for customers to access the mobile data most relevant to them.
The advanced profiling and “zero-input” personalisation learns customers interests and needs automatically as they use their mobiles, and adapts the menu structure to these.
The service will be available to both pre and post-paid customers.
The deal was struck after a trial period commencing in July 2002 proved successful. During that period the company reported the click-distance (the number of clicks to arrive at desired content) was reduced by an average of 30pc.
