A customer management technology developed by Dublin-headquartered Arantech has scooped the company a top award from strategic analyst firm Frost & Sullivan.

The company’s Touchpoint technology, which measures the actual end-user experience of all subscribers within a mobile network in real-time, has earned Arantech the 2006 Global Stratecast Customer Service Assurance Innovative Product Award.

“Arantech’s touchpoint solution provides end-to-end mobile customer management software for measuring and addressing issues that affect the service provided to end customers,” said Frost & Sullivan research analyst Nancee Ruzicka.

“The system uses real-time data transaction flows, data aggregation as well as modelling techniques to match network usage, capacity and configuration data against a customer’s service experience,” Ruzicka added.

So far 16 mobile operators serving 140 million subscribers around the world have signed up to use the Touchpoint technology.

Other trials are under way in the US, Asia and Europe as well as lab trials with fixed-mobile convergence players.

In April, siliconrepublic.com reported that the largest regional mobile telecoms operator in the US, Alltel, struck a landmark deal with Arantech to deploy its technology to address call quality issues.
