Sony Computer Entertainment Inc is shipping extra stock of the PlayStation Move controller into Ireland to meet the Christmas demand.
SCEE will fly additional stock of the motion controllers onto Irish shores in order to ensure that there are enough to go around for the holiday season.
The move has been prompted by the level of sales it received worldwide, with over 4.1 million controllers sold since its release two months ago.
Motion controllers seem to be the killer app for gaming this Christmas. The Kinect has sold 2.5 million of its handsfree controllers since its release.
Both controllers are expected to sell a combined 8 million by the time Christmas passes.
