20 Jan 2011

The Apple fanbois community is delirious with excitement at visual evidence contained in the iOS 4.3 Beta that the iPad 2 will come with a camera, as well as FaceTime and PhotoBooth applications.

The implications of the applications’ icons appearing in the iOS 4.3 Beta are that iPad devices will enable video conferencing in Wi-Fi areas with owners of iPhone and iPod devices.

The arrival of PhotoBooth on iPad 2 devices suggests that there will also be a rear camera.

iPad 2 expected to ship by March

PhotoBooth on the iPhone 4 enables users to edit and package up fun shots quickly and easily and create slide shows with various effects.

According to MacRumours, PhotoBooth camera filters found in the Beta include thermal camera, mirror, kaleidoscope, X-ray, twirl and stretch.

The iPad 2 could debut as early as March and it is expected this will be followed a month later by the iPhone 5.
