Google reveals new streamlined search app for iPhone

23 May 2012

Google has completely redesigned the interface on its iPhone search app. In a move quite similar to the recent redesign of the Google+ app, the new app is distinguished by a beautiful full-screen image search.

The elegant new app also allows users to group their various Google apps in one place.

The app is designed to run faster than its predecessor, including a faster auto complete function.

Pages also load faster and a slide panel lets users check out multiple pages and swipe back and forth between search modes like Images and Places.

A magnifying glass option allows users to find text within a page based on their search.
