The Harry Potter series is finally available in e-book form through the interactive reading website Pottermore. The e-books are compatible with all major e-readers.

Last year, Harry Potter author JK Rowling launched Pottermore, an interactive online reading experience. As well as offering new material, interactive elements and new illustrations, she said the site would exclusively sell Harry Potter e-books for the first time.

The e-books were initially supposed to go on sale on the site back in October 2011 when Pottermore was supposed to leave its beta mode, but technical issues delayed the move.

The Pottermore interactive site will be available to the public in April but the Harry Potter e-books are on sale now.

The e-books cost between €5.97 and €8.36 each. Customers can also purchase the entire series with a 10pc discount for €46.19. They are available in the EPUB format and Amazon Kindle formats. The store also offers digital audio books.

The shop will also eventually include more Harry Potter products and will offer “a potential outlet for Sony products and services related to Pottermore.”
