HTC One X rumoured to get taste of Android Jelly Bean in October

24 Sep 2012

An update to the operating system of HTC One X smartphones is rumoured to be on its way in October, alongside the Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III.

Samsung already confirmed that the S III will be upgraded from Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) to Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) in October, as reported by CNET, while the 4G version (available in the UK) sells with the latest OS as standard.

Now, a report on MoDaCo claims that HTC plans to roll out updates to Jelly Bean for the HTC One X at the same time, aiming to be complete by Christmas.

The site also claims that the upcoming HTC One X+ and the One XL will ship with Jelly Bean as standard.
