HTC has revealed the Sensation XE, a smartphone with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and Beats Audio.

The Sensation XE is an Android device which is equipped with a speedy 1.5GHz dual core processor and has an extended battery to last longer.

This is the first device with Beats Audio since HTC invested US$300m in the technology which focuses on high quality sound.

Along with running the technology, the Sensation XE will also ship with Beats by Dr Dre in-ear headphones. When plugged into the phone, it automatically switches to the Beats by Dr Dre sound profile which delivers songs accustomed to these headphones.

The headphones also include a remote control to pause, play and skip tracks if the phone is in the user’s pocket.

It also ships with an 8GB or 16GB micro SD card.

The HTC Sensation XE will be available across Europe in September.
